An initial concept for interactivity is to create a link to a website that provides a sens of the scientific data collection experienced as an expedition volunteer. This could be done with a map of our sightings, photographs of various species and some basic information. A major aspect of species identification is making photographs that show an individual’s detailed markings, such as the shape of the whale’s fluke. The map image here with links to a few of Sramek’s photos as an example is one idea of how to approach this. (Access to better quality map data will be arranged)
