This work is a continuation of the Tours body of works and mostly shot from the moving car. The series consists of a sequence of black and white multiple exposure panoramas following the southern route across the Rockies shot in 1988. There are also medium format strip images each shot on an entire roll of 220 film and contacted printed, the prints being roughly 6 x 64 inches. The series of 9 from 1989 follows the inner coastal highway on Vancouver Island heading north from Nanaimo.
This work, along the the earlier series Getting Gas Across Canada: The West is held in the permanent collections of the Art Gallery of Victoria.
