The Great American Postcards series came from yet another cross-continental drive, this time from Toronto to Vancouver and down the west coast to San Diego. Although they have only been produced as composite prints, rather than actual postcard sets, they mimic the strips of cards one buys at holiday souvenir stands and ironically comment on our conceptions of travel, tourism and the significant photographic view.
The series was exhibited at the Guangzhou Academy of Arts in China in 2014 as part of the International Art Collaborations show, Simulation.
